Cathy
Hanson has been training and showing horses for over 25 years. Cathy
holds a B.H.S.A.I. from the British Horse Society, which she obtained
at the age of 17. Her horse training philosophy is deeply rooted in
traditional horsemanship. Cathy believes though all horses are similar,
no two are exactly alike, that is why each horse at Hanson Quarter
Horses receives a specially designed program to ensure the best
possible results. In addition to the training operation, Cathy is a
past president of The Pacific Quarter Horse Association
(P.C.Q.H.A.), currently the P.C.Q.H.A. Youth Advisor, A member of the
A.Q.H.A. Youth Committee, A.Q.H.A. Professional Horseman's Association,
President of the Southern California Quarter Horse Exhibitors
Association and an Instructor at The Equine Studies Institute. Cathy's
passion for the horse carries over into her teachings. Co-Author of the
book Natural Western Riding, she clearly demonstrates there is no
secret to success, but that dedication and hard work are two of her
major beliefs. In 2007 Cathy recieved the A.Q.H.A.'s Most Valuable
Professional Award, her extensive contributions to the horse industry

Cherie Vonada has been with Hanson Quarter Horses for over 16 years.
Cherie also believes in the traditional values of horsemanship. Through
the years she has, along with Cathy, coached riders and ridden horses
to numerous top ten state and national titles. Cherie believes the fundamentals of riding success is directly related to mastering the basics. As a member of the A.Q.H.A. Professional Horseman's
Association, Director of the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association,
Vice President of the Southern California Quarter Horse Exhibitors
Association, the West Coast Representitive for Perfect Products LLC,
and an Instructor at the Equine Studies Institute Cherie is definately
